Pindrop Hearing Centre is an audiologist and hearing clinic located in Calgary.
If you require a hearing aid, the first step would be to have a hearing test. The hearing test normally lasts for around 30 to 45 minutes. After the test, they will explain the results. You may not need a hearing aid, but they may ask you to monitor the situation. If you do need a hearing aid, they may let you try one in the office to see what it is like.
Assuming you need a hearing aid, they will decide which one is right for you. They will take earmold impressions. A couple of weeks later, you will have the fitting done. The aid will be programmed accordingly, just for you. There will be a follow up to do more fine tuning.
